Biljana Miljković was born in Leskovac. She received her primary and secondary music education at the Stanislav Binički Music School in Leskovac. As a student, she won numerous awards. She graduated from the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje and, as a student, won First Prize at the final Federal Competition in Herceg Novi (1991).

During her studies, she began working as a pedagogue, teaching flute and chamber music at the same school. In 2010, she celebrated 20 years of her teaching career with her entire class in the Grand Hall of the City of Leskovac. Through her work with students, she has achieved over 80 awards at all national and international competitions and festivals held so far. She has also served as a jury member at numerous competitions in the disciplines of flute and chamber music.

She remains active on concert stages, having performed numerous recitals and appeared with the Chamber Orchestra Amorozo and the Skopje Philharmonic across Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia.
