was born in 1965 in Belgrade. He finished primary and secondary musical school in the class of Professor Milenko Stefanović, and Academy of Music in the class of Professor Ante Grgin. While still a secondary school student he was one of the founders of the ensemble “Skomrasi". Between 1990 and 2002 he is a member of the ensembles “Muzika Antika" and “Ars Nova". With these ensembles he held over 150 concerts and recorded three CDs. He held over 50 humanitarian concerts. With the ensemble “Muzika Antika" he participated in the European Festival of Old Music in Zadar and held a concert with the String Ensemble “Dušan Skovran" at the Synagogue.

 

He played on the authentic instruments like salmaj, crumhorn, all types of block/fipple flute and rauschpfeife. He has been teaching since 1988. His students have won 160 awards. Together with his students he has held over 40 humanitarian concerts, recorded music and a video for Serbian Radio Television. Eight of his students have performed with a Symphonic Orchestra; three of the students from his class received the “Belgrade Angel Award" and one received the “St Sava Award".

 

He started working for the Association of Music Schools in 1990, as a secretary of the jury for the wooden wind instruments, and later as the general secretary of the contest and the president of the organization board. He spent three years as a president of the wind instrument association of Serbia. He has worked for the “Review of Young Talents of Serbia" in Karlovci for four years. His students performed in all the major music halls in Belgrade. He is the founder of “Nevski" clarinet quartet, which won several special awards and first prizes in the country and abroad. He is the founder and president of the “International Association of Music Lovers" which is made up of over 120 distinguished pedagogues, academics, professors and music-lovers.

 

He has been collaborating with numerous humanitarian organizations and associations. He is the founder of the Youth Symphonic Orchestra which is made up of best students in Serbia. Many of his students have continued their studies in Serbia and abroad. He held 25 Master Courses with over 500 students.
