is the representative of the St. Petersburg piano school. She graduated from the piano department of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, with the eminent Prof. G. L. Sokolov. She has been teaching at the Mussorgsky Music College in St. Petersburg since 1980.

Her students continue their education at conservatories and schools in Russia, Germany, USA, work in music schools, colleges and concert agencies. There is a large number of finalists and laureates of various international competitions among them.

She has performed at concerts in St. Petersburg and other towns in Russia and abroad (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, and Estonia) as soloist, chamber musician and concertmistress. Besides Russia and the above listed countries, she has regularly organized

Master classes in Ukraine and Austria too, as well as seminaries for pedagogues and students in the USA and with the International Association of Piano Pedagogues.

She is a regular jury member at regional and international competitions. Her pedagogical and concert activity was expanded in 1984, when she became the deputy headmistress of the College.

She has participated at numerous international seminaries and conferences on music education, performance and pedagogy and in "People to People Citizen Ambassador" programme under the auspices of UNESCO.


She is a member of the Association of Concert Performers of Russia.
