BRANKO PENČIĆ

graduated and obtained his MA degree from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, with Prof. Nevena Popović. He specialized at master classes held by eminent artists and pedagogues (Bernard Ringeissen, Lev Naumov, Rudolf Kehrer).

He was a finalist and prize winner at the last National Yugoslav Competition of Young Artists that took place in Zagreb in 1990.

He has performed a great number of recitals both in the country and abroad. As a soloist, he performed with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the RTS Symphony Orchestra, the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the ensemble of the Serbian army and the Belgrade Youth Philharmonic, as well as at BEMUS and NOMUS festivals.Also made a number of permanent records for Radio Television of Serbia.

He was a jury member at numerous local and international competitions and festivals.

Since 1992, he has been teaching at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He is currently at the position of the head of piano department, as an associate professor.
