w as born in Belgrade in 1962. He was studying at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, with Prof. A. Pavlović and graduated from the class of Prof. R. Dojčinović, in 1982. In the same year, he won the October Prize of the City of Belgrade, as a member of a string quartet.

He specialized at Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory (with Prof. S. I. Kravchenko, 1982-1984), where he also obtained his MA degree (with Prof. E. A. Chugayeva, 1985-1987). In the period from 1990 until 1999, he was playing with the RTS Symphony Orchestra as the deputy concertmaster and the soloist.

 

He was a member of the "Mokranjac" String Quartet (1994-1996) and Belgrade String Quartet (1997-2002), with whom he recorded two CDs and went to numerous local and international tours.

He worked as a teacher at Music Schools "Josif Marinković" and "Josip Slavenski" in Belgrade, (1991 - 2002) and, after that, at "Ino Mirković" High School of Music in Croatia (2002 - 2008), at the position of senior lecturer for the following subjects: violin, chamber music, studies of orchestral parts, methodology of the major course and pedagogical practise.

Since September 2008, he has been teaching at the School for music talents in Ćuprija.
